...a squidoo that rocks of Christmas things.....

Christmas has the power to draw young and old together in so many ways.

In schools teachers and classes link to make christmas decorations and craft.

At home families make cakes and cookies and prepare the christmas foods.

Shops start preparing their sales and Christmas displays from as early as September, and there are staff who work all year to design and create the following years displays.

Cards, books, gifts, clothes, all have a part of Christmas.

Today Internet has made everything International and available for all and there are some awsome sites about Christmas.

It is the time of the year Christians remember the birth of Jesus and celebrate his birthday. Many Religions have festivals at this time of the year and December is a very happy time for everyone.

Happy Christmas everyone.

This squidoo is my 5th Day of the year Gift to the world.

Story of The Twelve Days of Christmas

THE HISTORY OF THE 12 DAY'S OF CHRISTMAS
There is 1 Christmas Carol that has Always Baffled Me.. What in the World do Leaping Lord's, French Hen's, Swimming Swans, and Especially the Partridge who won't come out of the Pear Tree, Have to do with Christmas ?

From 1558 until 1829, Roman Catholics in England Were Not Permitted to Practice their Faith Openly.. Someone During the Era, wrote this Carol as Catechism song for Young Catholics..
It Has two levels of Meaning; the Surface Meaning of their Church..Each Element in the Carol has a Code word for a Religious Reality which
the Children Could Rememnber!
The Partridge in a Pear Tree Was..."JESUS CHRIST"; !
Two Turtle Doves... Were the Old and New Testaments !
Three French Hens... Stood for Faith, Hope, and Love !
The Four Calling Birds...Were the Four Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John
The Five Golden Rings... related the Torah or Law, the Five Books of the Old Testament !
The Six Geese A-Laying... Stood for the Six Days of Creation !
Seven Swans A-Swimming... Represented the Seven Fold gifts of the Holy Spirit Prophesy, Serving, Teaching, Exhortation, Conreibation, Leadership, and Mercy!
The Eight Maids A-Milking... Were the Eight Beatitcudes!
Nine Ladies Dancing... were the Nine Fruits of the Holy Spirit-- Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness,Gentleness, and Self Control !
The Ten Lord's A-Leaping... were the Ten Commandments
The Eleven Pipers Piping... stood for the Eleven Faithful Disciples !
The Twelve Drummers Drumming... Symbolized the Twelve Points of Belief in the Apostles Creed !

So That's Your History Of Christmas..
