Hello ! I'm Chris

Hello, how are you ? Technology impacts many facets of our lives today. Whether you live in India, US, China or Brazil, technology is weaved into our everyday lives. I spend most of my time exploring different technologies and investigating how these would impact our lives.

Oh, and by the way, I'm Chris, a Singaporean living in the sunny island of Singapore. I am interested in many things, but what come out tops are technology, business, finance, investments, supply chain management, Christianity, computer games, and creating an online presence.

At age 30, I started my own company which develops and markets supply chain management software. Through organic growth and a series of mergers and acquisitions, the business has grown to a global enterprise with US$50M annual revenues in FY2006. Today, I work for the venture fund arm of the largest university in Singapore. I have the enjoyable task of exploring the technologies that these researchers come up with and taking those out to the market. My charter is to build globally competitive technology based companies.

I enjoy learning and writing about creating an online presence. This intriques me. Some people in real life can be very reserved, quiet, introvert, but on the internet they can have a very commanding prescence, their ideas move scores of people.

My lenses on Squidoo focus on several topics that I am really interested in. Using Squidoo, I am able to keep all of these material in one place, making it easier for me to track and manage my knowledge base.

Many of us spend quite a lot of time on the internet. Do you know that you can establish a digital online presence? Well, this list kinda puts together my digital life.

My Digital Life Stream: I use a lot of sites like Digg, Twitter, del.icio.us, StumbleUpon, Flickr, etc. everyday. This website aggregates the data streams for all these sites into one consolidated stream, giving you a peek into my daily digital life stream.
My Twitter Stream: Want to know what I am doing online? Follow my Twitter postings!
My StumbleUpon Digital Life Stream: I come across loads and heaps of websites everyday. I use StumbleUpon to make a note of these. Kinda like my personal online footprints trial. Take a look at what sites I have visited recently. Enjoy!
My del.icio.us Bookmark Stream: I tend to use del.icio.us to bookmark websites that I want to keep as part of my personal knowledge base. These are organized according to my own unique taxonomy of tags.
My Digg Activities: I tend to use Digg to get my daily fix of news. Come have a look at what I am doing on Digg.
My Reddit Activities: Reddit.com is another website from which I get my daily dose of news. This site is quite similar in nature to Digg, except you can vote, both upwards and downwards, news that you think are "news worthy".
Really Cool Websites: Here's my very own comprehensive and meticulously handpicked list of really cool and interesting websites. This page has now achieved Google pagerank 3/10. If you search for "Really Cool Websites" on Google, this is the first result returned!
My shared items in Google Reader: I use Google Reader to read up on hundreds of articles online. These are the items which I would like to share with you.
