While we all may have our favorite features of the Samsung Series 5 3G Chromebook, I will have to say that my husband's favorite is the fact that it has a full sized keyboard with special search and web-enabled keys.

Sure the fact that it's compact and lightweight and has a long 8 and 1/2 hours or so of battery life, or if you forget your Chromebook at home and want to use a friends Chromebook, you just log into your account and it will have all of your apps and files waiting for you - exactly the same as on your Chromebook.and then once you log out your information is not accessible or traceable. You see with a Chromebook your information is stored securely on the Cloud and not on the notebook itself.

In addition to 3G, this Samsung Chromebook also has wireless N Wi-Fi, and goes from the off position to being on the internet within 10 seconds, a dual core processor and so much more but it's the full sized keyboard that is the big hit for my husband who hates to use mobile devices due to the squished keyboard.

Included in with your 3G Samsung Chromebook is 100 MB per month of FREE mobile data from Verizon Wireless for 2 years. Optional data and plans are also available is you so choose.

The only difference between this Samsung Chromebook and the 3G Chromebook above ( XE500C21-H02US) is that this is in the color White and the above is in a Silver color.

If you are not looking for a 3G notebook, then this Samsung Chromebook is a good choice.
With the same features of the 3G version ( of coarse without the 3G option) you'll be able to have video chats with the built-in webcam and stereo speakers.
While it may have stereo speakers if you are planning on watching a lot of movies or videos on your Chromebook you may want to add Laptop Speakers to your list. While the stereo speakers are fine for most activities, when you're really into movies & music you'll find that the few additional dollars it costs is well worth it.

When you are looking at the specs of a Chromebook, always remember that the memory only has to run the browser and not tons of programs that you would have running in the background of a standard laptop or notebook. When you see that the Chromebook has 2GB or memory remember that the 2GB is internet dedicated memory and is more than enough to give you the speed and performance that you want.

The same thing applies to the Hard Drive.
You'll see that Chromebooks have small hard drives - but that's not an issue since everything it stored securely on the Cloud and on a hard drive that will get filled with information and start to slow your Chromebook down.
