Why I Love Chronicles Of Narnia Prince Caspian

At last, a family-friendly film thrills with action and adventure. While the plot is simple, it's not predictable. The Pevensie siblings, Kings Peter and Edmund and Queens Susan and Lucy, have been called to get Narnia's rightful heir, Prince Caspian, to the throne. Caspian's uncle and rival for the throne seeks to assassinate Caspian to clear a path for himself and his newborn son. Doubt about Aslan, in-fighting between Caspian and Peter, and confusion on how to proceed threaten the Pevensie's mission. Adding to the intrigue are political conspiracies, romantic innuendo, talking animals, minotaur, and sword-wielding mice.

While this is a war movie that's not appropriate for the youngest members of the family, the absence of cursing and sex scenes make it a good pick for you and your older kids.

Caspian confronts his uncle about his father's death

Caspian charges into the bedroom of his sleeping uncle and aunt. The prince wakes his uncle with a sword to the throat. His aunt is surprised to hear Caspian demanding to know if his uncle killed Caspian's father. The aunt says, "You told me that your brother died in his sleep." The uncle replies, "He did, in a manner of speaking."
