What a thorough and informative resource ... very nicely done! Congratulations on having one of the top 35 homeschooling lenses.

I am so happy to see a secular approach to the history of the planet! In reading the intro, I am afraid that the statement that you are doing the science units for your boys. without explaining that you have no girls, might come across as sexist to those with that sensativity. And do you really mean "aught?".

Keep up the good work and I will go read other of your lenses. Thank you.

Loved it. Lenrolled to my dinosaur timeline lens. I think a lot of homeschooled kids get a poor science education. Not yours though!

Hi; I was so pleased to see this lens. I have been working on my first ever lens called Dinosaur Discovery for the last 3 months and only came across yours today; I think you'll be really pleased - we're doing the same subject in complimentary ways. I've just published today and put yours in the related lens section; you'll see we have a lot in common beyond both being homeschoolers...You've covered the subject brilliantly; loads of useful resources - lovely layout - good images - and what a great subject. Intend to use some of your resources with my two - maybe you fancy trying yours out on making a dinosaur robot from junk? It's really good fun...

What a wonderful resource! Integrating all the subjects is one of the wonderful benefits of homeschooling.

Thank you so much for including links to some of my lenses. When you get up to 1780 you might enjoy Garner Rix and the Royalton Raid.

If you need some ideas on how to incorporate math into your studies you might like to look at How I Came to Love Teaching Math.

What a great lens! Please consider joining the Unit Studies: Fun, Creative Hands-On Leaning Group.
