I love to read the musings of those who have committed their lives to planting churches! Normally, they have moved into another dimension of ministry that requires creativity, thinking outside the box, flexibility, and a very clear focus on how to reach people who do not know Christ. These are modern-day pioneers, working out on the lonely fringes of kingdom expansion, often because they are driven by a unique passion that will not be satisfied by ordinary, traditional pastoral ministry.

And their blogs are so refreshing! If they are struggling with something, they don't mind tell the whole world; if they have discovered insights into their cultural setting, they're the first to share them freely with others; and they will always shoot straight with you. Not your typical, reverential, sermonic hype that glosses over the raw edges of ministry to broken people.

You Can Help Me Build This Site!

I could really use your help making this site more helpful.

If you know of some great blogs written by church planters, please leave a comment with the particulars of your favorite church planter blog, and I'll do my best to put it right here for everyone to read. If it's really outstanding, I'll even include an RSS feed to showcase that planter's recent musings.

Some ways to find more time for blogging . . .

Become a lean, mean, church planting machine!

Organize Your Email Clutter
E-mail is one of the greatest blessings, and at the same time one of the greatest curses, of ministry in the 21st Century! I get more than a dozen serious e-mails per day, from people all over the world, and many of them need varying levels of attention. Some I need to answer today . . . while others can wait a few days. And many of my e-mails build upon previous conversations that have taken place electronically between myself and the other party, with sometimes weeks in between. Perhaps you know the dilemma I am describing.
