Add more decors!
They raise your income and add color to your town.
Another way of stretching your income is to clump all those stores that make large payouts close to parks and decorations. Adding a few percent to their pay out can pretty much stretch 600 to a thousand and the nice thing is you don't need to add more supplies or stores to do that, Just a few decors, four pink flowers at 1200 can add 16% to every payout. Anticipate demands!
Don't wait till you need it.
Always be prepared, always be ready to supply your franchises, your shops and make good use of that energy. If you can ask someone to help you harvest that would be great. Sending you 3 or more energies is pretty helpful but if someone can harvest for you, you can use those precious batteries to harvest some greens. Now that someone is doing the harvesting for you, you can start to count how much supplies you would need. Total the number of supplies needed to keep shops running and that should be what you have in storage, or at least half of that. Keeping very low supplies in storage would not help you when big stores run out of supplies so, alway keep enough or at least half of what you need... An Appeal to My Friends and Readers
Everything goes to Homeward Trails Animal Rescue
Here's my appeal to all of you for my birthday... if you wish to help me fulfill my birthday wish click on the picture to DONATE... By clicking the picture you will be taken to the causes page where you can donate and create your own birthday wish. I am only asking a few dollars for the people and animals at HOMEWARD TRAILS ANIMAL RESCUE. I really hope this wish will come true... :DHi Friend...
For my birthday on August 5th, I'm asking my everyone for a special gift: help me raise $1000 for Save a Puppy or Kitten's Life- Get them out of the cold & into a home!. It's a great cause that Homeward Trails rescues an average of 1,500 homeless cats and dogs each year. I mean literally poor little pups and kitten's left in the cold!
I chose Save a Puppy or Kitten's Life- Get them out of the cold & into a home! because I am one big dog lover, and the for the past few years more and more dogs and kitties are neglected and on the street. Many of them die of starvation, many of them can also hurt us if they are left on the street, hungry and cold. All I ask is $10.00 from your pocket and send it to Homeward Trails through this Cause page. I would actually get nothing out of this but the joy of thinking that at least one dog has been sent to a good home and well taken care for.
Please consider giving to my Birthday Wish, and together we can give each dog and cat a good home and keep ourselves safe from stray cats and dogs.. If you can't give now, I'd really appreciate if you'd share this page with your friends.
Thanks so much,
Ramz
Collect Rent!
and let your friends save energy!
another way for your friends to save energy aside from harvesting and unloading for him / her is to collect rents. Rent collection is a one time deal. you earn 25 coins while your friend, saves energy and gets the rent that you collected. Don't Just click Send Energy
Choose what to send
If you reward your friends by clicking send ENERGY in the free gifts tab you'll only be sending a +1 energy, but if you go and choose the one and click the +3 energy, you have truly rewarder your friend... Coz that's three times the fun! Don't send Tourists...
Help harvest crops!
I know... sending tourist actually help a lot but, harvesting crops would be invaluable. Why? When you send in the tourists you help stir the city's economy, but when you harvest crops you both add to your reserves in terms of supplies. And one more, when you do the harvesting, the moment your friend opens and allows you to help, he doesn't actually need to harvest what you harvested. So, it saves your friend those precious energies to harvest some greens from his/her shop.It can actually help a lot, you have 5 energies for one visit, each harvest would earn you 15 supplies that's almost a hundred supplies from one single friend. I do grow my own crops but when I make my rounds I always help in the harvest. Each time I do my rounds I get somewhere around 1500++ supplies and more. I may not earn my cash now but I know it would pay off later on. My morning rounds is more than enough for 30 minutes of game play and plus its also good enough to supply my franchises where i earn a lot more.
Here's My favorite Lens
Make and add a lot of friends
yes!
Ships vs. Trains
Ship or Train?
Ships are good when you send out in ADVANCE in short, you'd buy more supplies for future use not immediate. Trains are better as there's no need for you to go and use up any amount of energy to unload or send it out. So pick your choice, which do you want?
My Favorite Places on Earth!
Read about why I love them!
Ships bring in supplies
you can unload them...
Storage!
Never abandon them!
Storage may not be that important when you were playing farmville, but here, IT IS! You'll need at least enough to hoard some supplies for yourself. These can be placed in the nooks and crannies of your map as they don't need roads nor pavements to connect to them. Strawberries
They live forever!
They say strawberries never wither, so you might plant a lot of these strawberries, BUT!!! not too much. Strawberries might be good as crops that would back you up when you run out of supplies along the way, but it can't help you after a long night's rest or after a few hours of being away from your keyboard. It can only provide up to 15 supplies in one harvest. Thus it isn't practical. Just keep some so your friends can pick them every visit. Supply:
Send to Franchises or to my Shops?
1. Do you need the coins, now?
Knowing if you need your coins now for an important project is very important. Because if you do then I suggest just go ahead and supply your franchises. Why? Simple! Franchises send in a lot of revenue for have the amount of supplies. For example, a coffee shop franchise would only need 50 supplies and then earn you right away while supplying your shops can take ages and will take you a hundred to supply one store alone. Thus, knowing if you're gonna need the money now or not is pretty important.
2. Do you have other supplies coming in?
Before, doing anything regrettable check your piers and fields also check other cities, if there are more supplies coming in. Why? This will allow you to choose between the two properly. If no more supplies are coming in plus, you've got limited cash left i suggest you go ahead and answer number one.
a. Which will you supply first big business or small business?
For me I always go for the big business first, I mean they bring in more coins. But also consider how much supplies you have left. If you see that red exclamation point below supplies, that's where this dilemma comes in. If the red mark is already there, fill in big businesses first. They will bring in more cash later on.
( Big businesses - refers to those that has the highest payouts in your city.)
My Other Hobby!
Post your thoughts about this Dilemma here...
Only about the topic directly above please
This is where we differ from others. We listen to you! You have your own space and your own place in this lens... SO Speak up or forever hold your piece...
So here's the big question. This question is ever like asking, when is the right time to get married? or so it goes. Here' you'll be able to answer the question below and share your thoughts. Anyone can post, posts will be screened but will always be welcome...
Given 500 last supplies with the next one coming in 8 hours, what will you do?

Supply franchises? Why?
Supply Shops? Why?
RocketSteel says:
Franchises don't mean much after a while, especially when you're getting $2,000 from a shop.
Costel Konstantin says:
Id supply my cinema cause i got 123% bonus on it ..if i need cash thats what i supply and the rest 80 id go for 1 bakery lvl1 8 times. than i can just collect rent or watever untill the crops comes.
variant 2 gather from cinema 1 time and replamt other vegetables.
... says:
if you need the coins and the next supply is coming in 8 hours go with the shops because franchises might take a day until you can collect from them and it will take a couple hours for ALL your shops to fill up. in the mean time do something else
john says:
What you do is buy a bunch of sticks for storage, then you plant a bunch of peas, and get a bunch of ships, get over 100 neighbors and they will harvest the peas and ships, send the ships to Rome, the peas and ships become staggered so there is always some to harvest, this will keep plenty of supplies that you need, then you dont have to worry you can supply both the shops and franchise.
JV says:
I get more coins for supplying the big shops, as there's also up to an 84% increase on the turnover on some, they bring in big money, money which can be used to send out more ships or trains and keep supplies coming in. Makes sense?
The bigger the better.
Talking about shops
Shops are very important but bear in mind that if you keep with the smaller shops you'd need more energy in maintaining them and thought they can quickly add to your tab of XP's and take very little to supply. They also take a big toll on your energy, needing to supply them every few minutes you'd be making a quick way up if you have a fountain of energy, plus they can't help a lot if you want to expand as they add only somewhere from 50 to a few hundreds. And if you're a newbie don't think of putting 2 coffee shops in your area, it would singe your dwindling supplies and you'd need to plant a lot. Just balance your supplies production and consumption. Wishlists
yup! The wishlist...
The best item to place in your wishlist is the item that you need most. That can't be energy, you can't add energy to the wishlist, but something that you can use for your city. For my wishlist, I have indicated that I want a zoning permit. the permit will allow you to expand your city and placing it on the wishlist "always" will allow you to acquire a lot of them easily... PIER use to the maximum!
8 is a lucky number...
As many as 8 ships can be placed on your pier. Place six of them horizontally, this will allow you to use up only 2 instead of three spaces connected to the pier. More ships means more chances of sending them to elsewhere in the world for supplies. Anymore suggestions? Questions? Comments? Thanks?
You are pretty much free to write down questions, comments and thanks on this board. And if you have other tricks place them here and well be the ones to add them on our list.

- click on the pier... or you can click on the ship... for as long as the cargo is still good. Once the cargo is on the sea you can only wait for your friends to click and save the shipment (cargo) because if you click it yourself... it's going to clean up the mess and not add it to your inventory...

- Same question for me.... :( I did try to "send" the ship out, but it asked me to complete goals first. If I understand right, the goal needed is "new seaport". But how can I access to this goal ? Does it come out from the citizens going around ??? Because, I'm actually blocked with the one saying "Harvest any ship"- which demand as well a ship sent our, doesn't it?"
So it makes a circle here... and I can't figure out how could I get out of these missions... ??!!
Thanks so much for your help and advices !

- In the inventory - Some items show with a slash, i.e. 1/8. Some only show a number that I have. I know if it has the slash I need it for a quest at this time. My question is, if it does not have the slash, does that mean I will not need it and it is free to gift to a friend??? Thank you for your time. My name is Doo and thanks for all the info on Cityville.
