Civilization I : The beginning of an epic.
In The Beginning.... The origin of Civ I
Before Windows there was DOS...
Civilization I was a 2.6 MB DOS game that was originally released in 1990.It marked the beginning of what would become one of the greatest computer games in history, as well as a creation of a whole new type of game - The turn-based strategy game.
You begin with a single settler (a city-founding unit) and build your empire up to the colonization of Alpha Centauri!
It was an amazing game for its vision and depth at a time. Hours and hours of gameplay were gotten out of a program smaller than most digital pictures now!
