For Civ II, more was definately better. Many of the features of the first game were developed into a more mature, complex system that remains in large part in current Civilization Games. All of these small additions added up to a spectacular game.

A large portion of the credit for the existence of this community has to go to Brian Reynolds who was the lead designer on Civ II. In a recent interview, Brian reflected on the creation of Civ II in the mid 90's.

You have the Talent, but do you have the Tools? When buying your copy of Civilization II remember that the multiplayer option is only included in the Gold Edition of the game, not the original.
