- I loved that you built a lens about your great grandfather serving in the Civil War. I love reading and learning about the Civil War. One of my favorites is the ironclads. Great lens!

- Appreciating this topic on Civil War. It is unfortuante that the Civil War, only 4 generations back, is already being forgotten. I have done quite a few topics on Community TV show as community service here in Northern Virginia in the last few years. I invite participation on the debate that my friend John and I are continuing, "Could The Civil War be avoided ?". John says NO. I say, Yes. Anyoone interested in this question today ? Thanks for this valuable Civil War lense.

- What a great idea for a lensography. I do not know a lot about the Civil War, but I always take a great interest in history, so I will come back and go through some of these over time. Awesome!

- This is such an interesting (and well done) niche topic. I'll be back to read more.

- Great lens, I was a civil war buff as a kid. It would be neat to learn about an ancestor during this time period.

- Good going Virginia! The Civil War in itself is fascinating, but the fact that you had a relative who experienced the rigors of war and Andersonville certainly makes a well-chosen subject for the quest.
