When it comes to your action figure, depending on what you plan to do with it you still want to make sure you care for and maintain it properly; after all that star wars droid you picked up at an op shop all those years ago may now be worth a small fortune.

There's a few quick things you can remember when looking after your classic action figure such as:

If you plan on keeping it as an investment touch as little as possible and where practical keep it in the packaging.

If you need to touch it use gloves.

Make sure you remove any dirt or stains - a small air gun or similar is a good way of keeping your action figure clean.
