Classic cars for sale
But I can tell you that they all had a common major malfunction in searching for classic cars for sale. My main problem with these websites is they are more interested in pushing financing and insurance then they are in providing quality searches for classic cars for sale. These websites were filled with flashing banners and miss directing ads that took the focus away from searching for a classic car and would place it on financing and insurance.
The first step should be to find a car that you are interested in and then you can worry about financing and insurance, if you have to. Below you will find a quick short story about the one website that I did like, and the reasons why I liked it. I hope that this will save you the time that I spent on my search for a classic car for sale. Need more information on buying cars off-line? Classic car purchases online
Can you can find your dream car?
Never purchase the car sight unseen. Ensure that the seller provides you with pictures of the car, from all angles. For instance, you'll need t ensure that you have pictures of the engine, the interior and even inside the trunk. Multiple shots of the body from different angles will help ensure that you see any dents that might be hidden by reflection or glare. Consider Getting your used car inspected by the professionals from Alliance Inspection Management, LLC. Why? The car above had a very poor paint job that looked much better in pictures.
Pictures of the serial numbers from the body and engine are a must if the vehicle is commanding a high price for being all original. If your not happy with the snap shots pay for an independent inspection. This can cost $100 but save you thousands. If you are using an online auction site, ensure that you review the seller's feedback. This means more than simply looking at the score. Read the actual comments left by buyers, particularly the negative comments. Buying a car online can be a great way to get the vehicle that you want. However, it will mean being informed and making savvy choices.

10 tips on buying classic cars
Check the car for sale before paying
when you buy used cars online you need to safeguard you're self from purchasing storm-damaged vehicles from sellers. In addition Experian Automotive recommends a thorough vehicle inspection. The National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) and Experian Automotive offer consumers ten inspection tips to help detect significant water damage: Check the vehicle's title history, it may state whether it has sustained flood damage. Examine the interior and the engine compartment for evidence of water and grit from suspected submersion. Check for recently shampooed carpet. Check under the floorboard carpet for water and stain marks from evaporated water not related to the air-conditioning.
Look for rust on the inside of the car and under interior carpeting and visually inspect all interior upholstery and door panels for any evidence of fading. Check under the dashboard for dried mud and note any evidence of mold or a musty odor in the upholstery, carpet or trunk. Check for rust on screws in the console or other areas where the water would normally not reach unless submerged. Check for mud or grit in alternator crevices, behind wiring harnesses and around the starter motor, power steering pump and relay brackets.
Complete a detailed inspection of the electrical wiring system, looking for rusted components, water marks or suspicious corrosion. Inspect the undercarriage and other components for evidence of rust and flaking metal that would not normally be associated with late model vehicles. Save money and buy used cars online but be safe about it and protect yourself. Use reliable online used car suppliers and check into the customer satisfaction rate of it.

A good classic and muscle car website is not hard to find
I am looking for an old Trans Am. My favorite year is the 1979 Pontiac Trans Am with a 6.6 L and the shaker hood. The 1979 Trans Am is the last year for the big block 6.6 L and Turbo 350 power train. This car has the advanced styling, and the big block power that I miss. In 1980 Pontiac went with the turbo Trans Am, which was a 4.9 L engine and a very poorly done turbocharger shoving air into a four-barrel carburetor. These oil-cooled turbos were known for internal leakage and dumping oil into the carburetor, creating a smoking condition which I have seen no equal to. These turbochargers have a short life and are very expensive. So that's why I am looking for the last good year of the big block Trans Am with the shaker hood.
EBay motors listed about 100 of these classic cars for sale. I was able to go through each picture and description to find the one that was the right price and in good condition. EBay motors, comes with a lot of advantages to the other cars for sale websites. For one, the selection of classic cars for sale was about 10 times the amount of any other website. Also eBay provides buyer protection and certified used car inspections before the sale is finalized plus guaranteed traceable shipping. What this means is that you can actually buy a classic car for sale. Get it checked out, protected against fraud and then get it delivered to your front door with confidence.
I have two pages on my website that discuss each of these benefits a little further. So you can come visit my classic cars for sale page or you can go directly to eBay motors website and read through the information about what it is like to buy a classic car from them.

Buying a car online paperwork
You surfed for convenience and that may not be what you get. You will have to beware of some dealerships. These dealers offer only a partial online buying experience. You will have to visit the dealership in person for paperwork completion, financing and for vehicle pickup. This negates most of the benefits of online new car shopping and means that you still have to spend the gas and time to go to the dealership. Some dealers consider the internet as a hook to get you in. And it works very well!Go ahead and push hard for no charge vehicle delivery. This is the part where most dealers fall flat on their face. While they may offer you mail-in document completion, financing online and numerous vehicle options, they still make you pick up the car purchased online. However, as with everything else at a dealership, this can be negotiable. Speak with your salesperson and determine the possibility of vehicle delivery at no extra charge. Also note that some dealerships are beginning to offer standard vehicle delivery for online customers to boost sales. This is a considerable benefit to you. Find out if delivery will incur an additional cost or if it is provided free of charge.
