The Secret? Law Of Attraction? Great, now where's my stuff?

Once upon a time, Princess Dawn The Awesome dipped her big toe in a little pond called The Universe.

"Princess Dawn," asked her best friend, Candy, "why don't you just dive into The Universe?"

Princess Dawn giggled at the silly idea. "Come on, Candy. Don't tease me." The pond was too small to even fit Princess Dawn's whole foot!

Yet, the princess had set many strange and wonderful things into motion in this little while.

For deep, deep, in the little pond of The Universe a beautiful girl with smart sparkling eyes looked up happily at the sky.

So much has happened in my wonderful life in the Great Big Universe, Little Dawn thought. I've had birthdays, and met friends, and smelt flowers, and sang songs, and skipped jump rope, and looked upon the moon high up in the sky!

She sighed and wondered what wonderful thing could be next.

That's when a big pink oval appeared in the naked sky! It moved very strangely. Little Dawn felt excitement from her head all the way to her toes!

She was even more excited when it settled just a few yards above the field where she lay. She simply had to get closer.

It just hung there in the air. And, Little Dawn said, "I'd really like a look inside that."

A light beam shone, and there she was. Inside, she knew, for she could see the whole field below her. She could see right through the wall all around, as though she stood within a raindrop. And, spread-out on a counter before her, stood many tuning forks.

Some of the tuning forks were glowing. In her excitement, Little Dawn reached for a couple of those and heard yummy tones fill the air like vanilla and honey suckle.

Little Dawn giggled and saw daisies all over the field. They weren't there, before!

More tuning forks started glowing, as her giggles grew. And, her fingers touched them lightly, lovingly. And, there were refreshing sun showers. And, there were rainbows. And, the birds sang more beautifully. And, a bunny's tail kept bobbing in the field.

But, now, Little Princess Dawn began getting curious.

Why was it that some of the tuning forks didn't glow? she wondered.

The ones that didn't glow didn't look so real, somehow. Grayer. Not as solid. Still, she touched one and drew away fast.

Frost and some brown spots appeared on the grass. Little Princess Dawn coughed.

She touched another such tuning fork. It felt a little sharp around the edges. Everything looked so dry, she noticed. And, where were the daisies? She could only see a few, if she looked hard.

Dawn was getting tired of playing in this great big round place. She looked around and noticed a little girl, outside. The girl's head rested against her hand, and her elbow rested on her folded legs. The girl looked bored.

"Hey! That's me," she realized.

How can you be bored? she wondered. Well, that version of her self wasn't inside a space ship. Okay. But, what about the big field to play in? And, there were still some daisies around.

Just then, Little Dawn noticed the glowing tuning forks. She had forgotten all about the glowing ones. Her breathing came easier, now that her thoughts had shifted. The little girl in the field started rocking playfully where she sat.

"That's better," Little Dawn thought, just about to touch a tuning fork. Wait a minute, she thought. Weren't more of the tuning forks dark and boring just a second ago? Maybe her feelings made the tuning forks glow!

And, more of them started glowing as the idea gave her excitement! It was true! She couldn't wait to touch a glowing tuning fork, now!




She did, and it sang sweetly. Yay! The daisies were back! And, her little self below started dancing around and picking them. Good girl! thought Little Dawn!

Dawn didn't feel so little up here in the space ship. She felt very powerful! And, strange as it seems, she felt very at home. It seemed this ship was made just for her. Maybe it was part of her! In fact, she felt sure of this. It was a big big part of her. Or she was a little part of it! That felt even more true!

Then, a sun shower came down. And Little Dawn, below, started spinning in the breeze. How Dawn wished that was her, down there! Well, of course, it was.

"I'm back!" she shouted, out loud. She kept repeating the words, while spinning 'round in the raindrops. 'Round and around and around and around.

"Princess Dawn," Candy repeated.

Princess Dawn just kept circling her toe in the little puddle of a pond. She hummed a little reply.

"Were you day dreaming, again?" Candy wanted to know.

Princess Dawn The Awesome shrugged. She pulled her big toe from the little pond of The Universe. Its name on the sign was a little too crooked. So, Princess Dawn straightened it a bit. "The sign," she said, "is a just little bigger than the pond!"

Both princesses chuckled.

But, it was true!
