The Turner Classic Movies website should be the first place you should go to. You'll find some of the best classic movie trailers here, even those that did not make a lot of splash when they were first released. From big-hit, big-studio films like The Wizard of Oz to the 1953 survival saga Island in the Sky, TCM.com is a film buff's fantasy.

Simply choose 'Movie Clips & Scenes' or 'Original Movie Trailer' from the drop-down menu and click on your choices. Films are arranged alphabetically or if you prefer, you can also perform your own search within the site. While you're there, check out some of the interesting trivia and information about your favorite movies.

Movie-List

Many of the classic movie trailers that appear on this site have been re-encoded, so you can expect great quality picture and audio. You'll find some of the most famous films here, including All About Eve, the film that features the indomitable Bette Davis, the conniving Anne Baxter with a small but memorable appearance of Marilyn Monroe.

This is also the site to check out snippets of Casablanca, The Maltese Falcon, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Ben-Hur, the 1932 The Mummy and Rear Window. Of course, there are the 70s and 80s gems like Serpico, Rocky (I to V), The Omen (1976), Full Metal Jacket and The French Connection.

For the unconventional and adventurous, there's always that precious collection of cult movies. Eraserhead, Metropolis, even the gore-fest zombie flick Night of the Living Dead can be found here.

More cult classics? Satisfy some of your cravings at this site. Here you'll find the films that made it to every movie geek's list, including 1969's Easy Rider, starring the spaced-out Peter Fonda (son to Henry, father to Bridget), the famous exploitation movie Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill! from Russ Meyer (yes, that's the real title - check it out) and 1958's priceless Attack of the 50-Foot Woman.

Look for previews of films that featured some of the best actors of Hollywood, such as Adam's Rib (starring Kate Hepburn and Spencer Tracy - listen for the verbal fencing here), The African Queen (Kate again with Humphrey Bogart), Orson Welles' Citizen Kane and Alfred Hitchcock's Dial M for Murder (Grace Kelly and Ray Milland).

Or catch a glimpse of Stanley Kubrick's early genius in Dr. Strangelove and the promise of a young, fresh-faced Dustin Hoffman being seduced grandly by Anne Bancroft in The Graduate.
