I'm going to let you in on a little secret. My husband is a Claw freak. I mean, he really loves carnival type games, and he loves playing the claw games.
I guess it's the closest thing we have in our lives today that compares to a man going out and hunting and bringing home a critter for supper. Or maybe it's just fun. At any rate, he's gotten rather good at it over the years, and he seldom tries a game without bringing home a stuffed toy.
We've been talking about filming it for a lens, so I finally remembered to grab the camera before we went to the Wal-Mart this evening. We sure got some strange looks when we started filming him playing!
Since this is something that we will no doubt continue to do in the future, I thought this would be a cool way to share the fun. This is just the beginning - there will be more toys featured in the future, 'cause I don't see him stopping anytime soon.

- Oh My! This lens brought back memories of when my oldest daughter was as small as my youngest one is now. My father managed a bowling alley and I was his daytime assistant. I was able to bring my daughter to work with me and my Dad would spend so much money trying to win her those silly toys in the claw game. One week he realized that he forgot to order more toys to replenish the bin - the next day I came into work with a large black trash bag FULL of those silly toys! He actually paid for them all twice! I'm certain half of them ended up back in my daughter's room on the bookshelf!
