I use a PUR filter at home, but I've often wondered if it's doing a good enough job filtering the water. It tastes better than water straight from the top, but honestly, not as good as a bottle of Poland Spring. In my next home, I'm definitely investing in an additional filtration system like the one you have featured here. Thanks for the tips!

Being in the water quality business, this is a subject near and dear to my heart. We've been filtering all the water in our home since the early 80's. Well done lens.

Very well written and informative lens. It is very important to filter our water. I was getting red blotches on my skin after taking a shower. I couldn't figure out why - the water wasn't too hot. Sure enough something in the water was causing a reaction to my skin. 5*

Very helpful! We have horrible tasting water here in Arizona (like the taste of dirt?). It's extremely hard. We also had a contaminated water source issue in a nearby city that caused our water source to be rerouted. Scary stuff. You did a great job explaining solutions to water - something we easily take for granted.

Our water here is not too bad, but we filter all of our drinking and cooking water anyway. Excellent lens.
