How To Clean Your Colon...

Imagine a table with all the food and drink that you consume in a four week period stacked upon it. Just picture that for a minute... I am sure you will agree that it is a lot of food and drink, now multiply that by twelve, how big a mountain of food and drink is that now! Imagine if you were to multiply that mountain by your age... are you getting the picture now?

The colon is a large organ that does a very important job of eliminating waste from the body. If that waste has built up over a period of time, it could lead to a build up in the colon of harmful toxins. The colon is a large part of the intestines and that build up of toxins will eventually make there way into the bloodstream and that will lead to poor health.

The liver, kidneys, skin and lungs also work at eliminating toxins from the body. If you clean your colon properly it will help to reduce the build up of toxins in the body and therefore reduce the workload of the other organs that perform that task. It is like a car, or anything else, keep it in good condition and it will perform properly. Getting a service is always a good idea, never more so than for the welfare of your body.

Having a colonoscopy is highly recommended, but fewer than fifty percent of the people that should arrange for a screening do so. It is especially important for people of middle age, fifty years for caucasians and forty five years for African Americans, even earlier for family history cases. It is recommended where there is family history that a screening is arranged ten years earlier than the youngest family member with history.

If you were to make some basic lifestyle changes such as; eating more fibre [fiber] rich foods even chewing your food properly and eating slower will help with the digestion, and eat less high fat and processed foods, you will see and feel the benefits and help with cleaning your colon.

If you exercise regularly, drink less alcohol and cut down or preferably stop smoking you will see benefits of increased energy, clearer skin, weight loss and better sleep, these are just some of the most common comments from people who detox and cleanse the colon.
