Welcome To My Little Corner Of Squidoo

When I started on Squidoo back in July 2008, I was looking for a way to promote my online business. Little did I know that Squidoo would end up taking up almost all of my time.

Building my pages, which we call "Lenses", has been a lot of fun, and I enjoy the freedom Squidoo offers to explore diverse interests.

This Lens is an attempt to organize my pages in what is known as a Lensography that will make it easier to sort through them. I can only imagine that this Lens will grow as I add more to Squidoo.

I really like Holmes products, I think they are well built and long lasting. Looking around for things to write about, I realized that I had quite a few products by Holmes.

When looking for eco-friendly products, it makes sense to purchase items that are energy efficient and last as long as possible.

What's healthier than eating things you've grown yourself?

I'm not a farmer, I don't even own my own land, but there are some things I can grow for myself!

One of the first things I could clearly Identify as being bad for me was man made fragrances. Even certain soaps will cause me to have skin rashes. The more I learn, the more things I try to avoid. Luckily there are alternatives.

On March 14, 2009 I was notified by a comment in my guestbook that this Lens had been added to EelKat's The Lensography Index.

It is quite the honor as I've admired EelKat's work since first meeting her on Squidoo, and I'm honored that she found my Lensography without me asking her to look at it, and thought enough of it to add it to her Index.

On March 15, 2009 Melissa and I were talking in the Squidoo Chat Room when she mentioned wanting to feature my Lens on Cash Gifting on one of her Squidoo Groups.

The Group is now gone, but that conversation, and the short time it was feature on the front page helped get me some much needed notice which helped propel it to the top 5 of Squidoo's Topic list of Work At Home Lenses.

More importantly, it motivated me to work on that Lens until I reached the first page of returns on Google for the phrase "Cash Gifting Scam" -- without quotes!
