Best bathroom cleaning products

I'd like to share a few cleaning products that I use regularly in my cleaning arsenal.

Products discussed in this article:

Mr. Clean Magic Erasers - These will remove anything!

Swiffer Dry Sweeper Mop - I love how easy it is to use a new clean cloth and you never have to use a dirty old mop.

Lime-A-way - Powerful cleaner

Disinfecting Wipes - Wipe up your sink and prevent germs from spreading.

Windex Wipes - Great for cleaning mirrors and glass.

Prevent soap scum from building up in your shower by wiping down your shower after every use. You can keep an inexpensive bath towel in your bathroom and right after your shower if you dry off the shower and tub you will not have to worry about difficult stains later.

Cleaning the sink, tub and floor

my cleaning arsenal

bath cleaningI'd like to share a few cleaning products that I use regularly in my cleaning arsenal. I do professional house cleaning part time two days a week, and have tried a multitude of products. Today, I would like to share the best products that I have found to use to clean the bathroom. First, always wear a pair of rubber gloves to not only protect your skin against harsh chemicals, but to also keep clean from the menacing germs in the bathroom. I just discovered that Mr. Clean Magic Erasers work amazingly well on tough stains in the sink. Test the magic eraser on a small portion of your sink to make sure it will not damage the surface of the sink before using it on the stains. If it does not damage your sink's surface, it will literally remove marks that you thought would be there forever. After you are finished with the sink, you can also use Magic Erasers on the walls if you have any stains or marks.

Next, I tackled the shower. If you have hard water stains, lime, calcium or rust on your metal showerhead or bathroom faucet, I use Lime-A-way. Make sure to properly ventilate the bathroom, this product is very harsh and has a strong odor. Apply Lime-A-way to the dirty sections and let it sit for a few minutes. You will still need to rub the stain with some "elbow grease", but without the aid of Lime-A-way, these types of stains are almost impossible to get rid of.

If you have dust or hair on your bathroom floor, try the dry Swiffer sweeper. The Swiffer cleaning cloths attract and hold this type of dirt and can be easily disposed of when you are done. I know my bathroom floor collects a lot of this type of "hairy" dirt and when using a traditional mop, it will just move the dirt around instead of picking it up. If you would like to disinfect your floor after you remove the dirt, you can follow the dry swiffer with the wet. If you are unfortunate enough to have carpet in your bathroom, your only option is to use a vacuum cleaner.

If you run a professional cleaning business, providing your clients with clean and shiny bathrooms is a must. Most people won't want to admit it, but have the reason someone hires a cleaning service at all is just for the bathrooms because no one wants to clean them themselves. If you are looking for a way to promote your business, you can find free cleaning flyer templates that you can download and use to make ads.

Swiffer Products on Amazon

Better then a traditional mop and bucket.

Before Swiffer was invented, cleaning a tile or linoleum floor was a pain. You had to get out the mop and bucket, you would end up with a bucket of dirty water and your mop head would look grungy. If you continued to use the mop over and over, imagine how much dirt and bacteria collected on the mop. Also, you would have to wait for the floor to dry and certain cleaners would leave a sticky residue. I love Swiffer, because it solves all of these problems.

Great lens! The only thing that I would add is Invisible Glass for cleaning mirrors and windows. I discovered this stuff a while back, and it's the best glass cleaner that I have ever found for cleaning and not leaving a lot of streaks. It's usually in the automotive department of department stores or you can order from the web.
