Clear and Present Danger is a movie that never quits. Its constantly building story, characters, action and plot, and doesn't let up until the very end. Well-crafted, intense and mature, it never panders to the audience and dumbs nothing down. There's always something going on and the movie never disappoints, even after many viewings.

Harrison Ford: Indiana Jones, Han Solo, and so much more, you know him, you love him.
Willem Dafoe: He's played Jesus and he was in The Hunger, among so much more, including Osborn/Green Goblin as of late.
Anne Archer: A long distinguished movie career, she puts in a savy, demurely sexy performance here. She doesn't get much to do, but this movie has a lot of solid background and Ryan's family is definitely a necessary detail.
Joaquim de Almeida: Spent a lot of his time in Spanish Cinema, but turned this role around to play Bucho in Desperado the following year.
Henry Czerny: Plays the equally slimy Kittridge in Mission:Impossible.
Miguel Sandoval: They keep tapping him for drug dealer roles, but hey, he's good in those just like he's good here.
Raymond Cruz: They keep tapping him for military and police roles, but like Miguel, it works.
Thora Birch: A young Thora returns from Patriot Games to put in another good performance as Ryan's daughter. This movie has a lot of solid background and Ryan's family is definitely a nice detail that they don't gloss over.
Ann Magnuson: Another Hunger alum(!), she went on to play the Madam in Tank Girl. I like Moira a lot and always feel bad that she gets in with the wrong man.
Benjamin Bratt: In between making movies with Sandra Bullock, he also joined other CaPD alums to star in Traffic.
Harris Yulin: Did a lot of TV including Dynasty and Kojak and was Mel Bernstein in Scarface
Donald Moffat: Like Yulin, did a lot of TV including Ironside and Kojak, and made another turn as President earlier in The Right Stuff (LBJ)
