Clear Up Diaper Rash Fast Without the Sticky, Smelly Mess

Ranked #7,546 in Parenting & Kids, #261,795 overall

Keep your baby's rear end comfy with much less mess.

Poor baby. Diaper rash can leave your little one feeling chafed, raw, and just plain uncomfortable. How do you help your kiddo's bottom heal up fast without dealing with the funky odors, stickiness and odd texture of traditional diaper rash products?

I'll tell you why Aquaphor Baby Healing Ointment is the best solution for you and baby's diaper rash woes. Take it from a mommy who's been there. You don't get pumped to write a whole web page about stuff to go on your child's rear unless it really, really works.

The healing

I've tried a number of diaper rash creams and 'butt pastes' on our daughter since she first got diaper rash at 2 months old, and they all seemed to take awhile to clear it up. I'd have to apply the creams at every diaper change for a day or two to see a change.

With Aquaphor, I'd start seeing definite improvement within 24 hours. Now diaper rash episodes are just fleeting experiences rather than drawn out ordeals.

No funky odor

Even traditional diaper creams that tout 'no unpleasant odor' still smell a bit odd. I love the sweet smell of my little girl, not the smell of diaper paste. One popular brand which touts a 'pleasant scent' actually had, in my opinion, an odor similar to that of a poopy infant diaper, but with a slightly medicinal undertone. I was fooled several times into thinking my daughter needed a change only to realize, 'oh, that's only the butt paste.'

Aquaphor has no scent. If your kiddo has a poopy surprise for you, there will be no mistaking it.

No mess. No kidding.

Aquaphor is clear, is absorbed quickly into the skin, and wipes off quickly.

Traditional diaper creams/pastes are almost as hard to remove as meconium.

While the thick sticky pastes may stay put on your baby's behind, try removing them easily and quickly from your baby's hands, feet or other body parts. Not to mention getting the paste off of your hands quickly while you're trying to change a squirmy baby.

Aquaphor is also a great relief for around the nose area that gets so tender sometimes with a cold. What a great product and an excellent review.

It's also great for eczema, which both me and my second baby have. Aquaphor is amazing stuff. You can even use it safely on baby's lips when they're chapped, and use it to moisturize dry skin. My pediatrician recommends it. I love it and always have some on hand.
