Clickbank RSS feed generator

In this lens I will show you how I make money using Clickbank RSS feeds generated on CBFeed combined with Squidoo, Twitter, RSS Directories and Blogs. It's really simple to use the Clickbank RSS feed generator to get keyword targeted feeds. Clickbank combined with Twitter is a real cash machine.

Generate Clickbank RSS Feeds

The first step is to start generating some clickbank rss feeds. Click on the link and enter the following:

  • Keywords: Enter the keyword(s) for the niche you are promoting

  • Clickbank ID: Enter your Clickbank ID

  • Clickbank TID: Enter a tracking ID used to track hops and sales to this specific clickbank rss feed

Press the "Generate Code" button when finished, your clickbank rss feed url will appear in the textbox. We will use this later, so copy/paste it into a textfile.

Twitter and Clickbank

In order to start autoposting Clickbank products on Twitter you'll need a Twitter account and a Twitterfeed account.

Setup a Twitter account on the niche you're promoting, for example, golf_coach45 if you're into golf products etc. Be sure to build up your account to 1200+ followers or more, I use Flashtweet to follow people in order to reach those numbers.

Beware!
Do not build up your account in 1 day! You will get banned when adding to many people at once, I normally take 2-3 weeks to get to 1200+, after that the account grows on it's own.

Do not try to setup multiple accounts via the same IP adress, they will ban them all in one sweep. Use something like Firefox with Tor to switch IP's while making accounts.

Twitterfeed

Setting up feeds via Twitterfeed is very simple.
Login to your account, open your feed overview via the "my feeds" links and click on "create new feed".

  • use the OAuth option to link this feed to your twitter account

  • copy/paste the clickbank rss feed created earlier

  • Set the update frequency

  • Set the other display options

I post 1 or 2 items every 6 or 12 hours, include Title & Description, use TinyURL to shorten links and post new items based on pubDate.

In order to keep my twitteraccounts look natural I also setup niche related RSS feeds from common sources, I try to do 4-6 normal posts for every Clickbank post.
In the golf_coach45 example I would use Golf News from CNN or from another sports website.

Clickbank RSS Feed example

Using the keyword twitter

This is an example of a generated Clickbank RSS feed you can use on Squidoo or any other website that has support for RSS feeds.

Other ways to use a Clickbank RSS Feed

Any site that offers rss support can be used to market Clickbank products. Here a short list of sites / services I use to publish Clickbank RSS Feeds.

  • Twitter

  • Squidoo

  • Wordpress Blogs

  • Tons of RSS Directories (incl. Feedage and Inezha)

  • My Yahoo

Since it's all fully automated it's really set and forget.
The real money is in the numbers, publishing 1, 5 or 10 feeds is nice but if you want to earn more than a few hundred a month then you'll need to do some work.
Start small and just keep expanding every day, after a few weeks you'll have dozens of autoposting feeds working for you.

Blurb away...

cbhunt79 and cbfeed are the default ID and TID to which the feed defaults if no valid ID or TID is found. This usually happens if a feed is not parsed correctly, the CBID and TID part are dropped because the parser reads & amp ; instead of &.

But you are talking about your own vendor page or are you using feeds from cbfeed.com on a wordpress blog or something similair?

Why is [affiliate = cbhunt79.cbfeed] showing up at the bottom of Clickbanks order processing page when I click my "Order Now" button on my own order page?

No matter what I do (clear cache, clear cookies, restart computer, ran Onyx), I can NOT stop that Clickbank affiliate ID from showing up there! The weird thing is that it ONLY happens with Firefox on my Mac and not with Safari or IE on my Windows computer. I called Clickbank about this and they said that affiliate link doesn't appear on their computer when they click over from my order page.

Does anyone know why [affiliate = cbhunt79.cbfeed] is there and how I can stop it from being there?

    Thanks.

Also so be sure that your rss parser doesn't break the feed.
Some rss parsers convert the & into an & which will break the feed and your clickbank ID will be lost!!

I've seen some wordpress installations do this, you will end up with links that look like
    http://www.cbfeed.com/go.php?vid=85613e1c0403a60ff03680d0cc35216c&amp
    instead of
    http://www.cbfeed.com/go.php?vid=85613e1c0403a60ff03680d0cc35216c&cbid=CLICKBANK-ID&tid=TRACKING-ID

As stated on cbfeed.com only 85% of the click are credited to your ID.
See the comment below and try it out by clicking the same link 20 times.

there is a flaw in the feed , i tried it,most of the times it displays somebody else's clickbank id,so the owner of the secript site gets the commission always.

@ spidersoncider, the TID can only contain alpha and numeric characters.
(only letters and numbers) no dashes, underscores or other special characters.

No idea, do you get the default cbfeed tid or no tid at all?
When you view the feed in a browser and check the links wat tid's to the links have?

any idea why it is not picking up the tid on clickbank stats using the cbfeed?

And make sure your url includes a valid Clickbank ID (cbid=tester80 in the example below)
    http://www.cbfeed.com/rss.php?keyword=google&cbid=tester80&tid=test&maxnum=10
The script uses a default ID when the cbid value is not found.

The rss feed should always include your ID on all links. The % part is done after clicking the link. So in theory when clicking the same link 20 times you would see your ID approx. 17 times. The 85% is a chance calculation on every click, hence the approx. :)

    Very nice idea about clickbank rss feed. The only problem is this;

I tested the clickbank RSS feed and seem to run into a problem every time I refresh the browser my affiliate ID on the merchant's payment page id replaced by this CB aid, cbhunt79.cbfeed. So I took it that if I earn any commission by using this RSS Feed there is a very good chance that it would be going to cbhunt79 instead.
I know there is a disclaimer on the cbfeed.com regarding usage as is. I thought to run it here just in case its an honest mistake so I can fix it before I can reactivate it again.

    Thanks.

Another really easy way put ClickBank products on a Squidoo lens is with the HopAds Module - features automatically rotating ads and cloaked links. Give it a try...
