I wish it was that easy. My sister and brother-in-law are devout christians and have an enormous impact on people in their area because they run a christian radio station. One morning we talked about morality and virtue, or at least I tried to guide the conversation that way, and every time I tried to introduce a new concept to them their response was immediate and consistently referenced the bible. I pointed out that our "leaders" in Washington want to pick a fight with Iran and Seria and go to war with them. I thought, naively, that they would be of the opinion that any such action was insane. The image of the carnage such insanity would bring is almost unbearable to me.

Not so with them. "Do you KNOW what the Muslim religion teaches?", my sister said. And my brother-in-law didn't say a word. They were looking forward to such a war.
I was speechless. "Do you know what they teach about women?", my sister said.
Yes, I told her. I know exactly what Mohammed said 1400 years before the USA gave women the right to vote and own property. 1.4 millenia BEFORE we recognized women as human, the muslim religion did.
After they left, I sent my sister a link to information that shows how wrong she was but I have yet to see a response. I guess they "just know".
I guess my point is that if you want peace, go to church and tell your pastor or preacher or priest to not instigate war and murder and mayhem in the name of morality or jesus or god.
And another point is that this whole movement to wipe out the followers of Mohammed illuminates, for all to see in terms that are crystal clear, just how evil this "onward Christian Soldiers" mentality really is. And maybe, if you want to be "moral", stay away from any churches and the so-called morality that they preach.
How can murdering innocents ever be considered moral? when others become as outraged as I am, then and only then will we have peace.

There is a peace meditation I do daily that expands love, light, and peace from my heart in ever-expanding circles until it fills the entire universe. This simple peace meditation is on my web site, www.Journey2Happiness.com, but you can easily develop your own from this concept.
Thanks for contributing to the focus on creating lastin peace in our world.

A very interesting and well presented lens. Has a lot of answers but also raises a lot of questions. Some highly beneficial material. Great subject matter. 5 stars. Thank you. Clive Anderson.
