Cliffsnotes - study guides for students

CliffsNotes (often, incorrectly, CliffNotes) are a series of student study guides. The guides present and explain literary works in pamphlet form, or online. The guides help readers understand complex literary works and provide a refresher course on a variety of subjects.
Many high school students use CliffsNotes (instead of actually reading the assigned book) to write their book reports. Because of this, many people are opposed to them. By the same token, condensed books should be banned. Many teachers deliberately ask questions on exams about material not provided in the CliffsNotes, so it is NOT ADVISED to rely solely on CliffsNotes instead of reading the real book !
CliffsNotes, Inc., was founded by Cliff Hillegass with the prompting of Jack Cole, owner of Canada's Coles Notes. In 1998, Cliff Hillegass sold CliffsNotes, Inc., and the brand lives on today as part of John Wiley & Sons, Inc. In May 2001, Mr. Hillegass died at the age of 83.

- I like this lens. You have excellently put all together the information and facts that are of great help and value. Truly it is an amazing work and I am giving you five stars for that. I will bookmark this for future use. I also have one site that I would like to share with you online master in social work, they have wide selection of facts and information as well as links on bible online study. You can see it for yourself.
