Finding the best closing gift is important
Unfortunately, the fruit will be eaten or go bad eventually...and maybe the family will use the basket to keep their old Reader's Digest magazines in a corner of their living room, but it's certainly not going to work for you as a repeat sales marketing tool.
A handmade house portrait of the new home just purchased or the home just sold makes a wonderful closing gift for clients. I create pencil portraits based on the photos you provide. It's so easy to order, because you usually already have good photos of the home. The photos can be emailed to me.
Currently, most homes are drawn in 8"x10" image size on 11"x14" paper. I draw the artwork centered so that the image will show well in an 11x14 mat with an 8x10 opening. All you will need to do is get an 11x14 frame at your location. Many ready-made picture frames you can purchase in stores come with a mat included. Some real estate agents buy several good quality, yet inexpensive frames at once - knowing they will be ordering several portraits through the year.
For an additional reasonable fee, I can handletter your name and agency at the bottom center of the drawing, so your information will be on the artwork for everyone to see for years. This is one closing gift that will be kept!
