Replacing Your Iron with A Clothing Steamer

For Real customer reviews, visit www.tobisteamerreviews.com

Replacing your iron with a Tobi steamer is probably one of the more economical decisions you will ever make because you will be spared the cost of expensive soaps for washing delicate fabrics as well as the sometimes-exorbitant cost of dry cleaning.

We use fabric irons to iron clothes as a matter of habit. Irons have been around for seven hundred years or more. Originally they were just heavy flat objects that weighed fabric down. Nowadays they are used to press wrinkles out of various materials and cloths. These primitive ironing machines quickly evolved into what we know as today's ironing machines, which also eject steam. Most of us are used to fabric irons but some of these fabric irons in commercial operations are larger than printing presses. Both the irons that are used for home use and the big commercial ones are called flat irons. They used to be made from cast iron but nowadays they are made from light metal alloys, composite materials or even plastic.

A steam cleaner such as the Tobi Steamer is a little different than the classic flat iron. The traditional flat iron only uses heat to press out wrinkles but the steam iron also uses steam. Inside the Tobi steamer water is heated to boiling and then it vaporizes and becomes steam as it is ejected out of the iron. This is facilitated by simply pressing a button on the Tobi steamer. The Tobi travel steamer works the same way.

Professional garment cleaners use steam cleaning when they don't want to ruin clothing with dry cleaning chemicals or soap. When you replace your iron with a Tobi steamer it allows you to be a professional cleaner without the hassle of having to drop your clothes off to one or going to the expense of paying for it.

These steam machines are a lot safer to use then the traditional flat irons. This is because the traditional flat iron can leave delicate materials scorched, burned or even melted (as is the case with some types of polyesters.) Otherwise steam-ironing machines are safe for most fabrics including the very delicate ones like silk, crepes and very thin cotton. They can also get a shirt or skirt made out of designer material looking almost as good as new as the steam offers a way to iron out pleats and other details. In fact this is the reason that so many seamstresses use the Tobi steamer. The Tobi steam iron is excellent for ironing little details such as the stitching around buttons or zippers.

Water in a Tobi steamer also cools almost immediately as it ejects out of a machine so it is a lot easier to use and safer than an iron. You can use the steam iron cleaner while the item of clothing is hanging from a hanger or you can lay it on a flat surface. Either way you will end up with a garment that looks like it has been taken to a professional cleaners even though it has been spruced up at home using a Tobi steamer or Tobi travel steamer.
