the exhaust hose need to be clean enery couple of months also more so if you have a long hose, sometimes it run a long way before it reach outside with a lot of turns and corners,if you still have the kind of white looking one you need to change it to the aluminum kind and don't put the detergent and bleach container on top of the dryer they will cause the top to get rusty and look older that it really is.
