Cloud Computing Attitude

Some people still consider security as hurdle. This is supported by the three quarters (74 percent) of the IT community that still the cost and IT security has a rift which has to be overcome. There are many companies that also feel that cloud is less secure compared to the price with their fellow security solutions available at less cost. Still 62% of IT professionals feel that storing the data isolated from server is simply great risk. This may also be due to less cloud acquaintance yet.

If any organization is adopting cloud then initially the costs will not be reduced. Nearly 58% people say that replacing the traditional IT solutions costs more if altered with the new beneficial IT solutions.

The cloud issues arise due to less clarity. The cloud services are so well implemented and widely used still because lack of awareness and not much communication from IT sector. According to the 45 percent feedback the advantages of the cloud delivery models are much hyped by the IT industry.

The CEO and co-founder- Mr. Peter Bauer of the Mimecast commented that organizations can enhance the security with cloud computing if the technology use is channelized in right direction. Today IT industry is also looking for innovation in technology and hence 50% organizations are already using cloud and rest in process of adopting the technology. These changes are highly acceptable as they boost have great monetary value, genuine reliability with effective control on data is significant.

Mr. Peter Bauer also stated that the division of views among the IT industry can be clearly seen on the issue of cloud computing. It is also commendable that organizations that have already implemented the cloud computing are reaping benefits and have become more secure leading to enhanced productivity like using Google Docs. On the other hand if you see there are many others IT majors too who yet are in control of "cloud myths" and are considering the costing and security factor before replacing the conventional secure servers. This latest technology of cloud computing is still entirely to set in and it lies in the hands of cloud promoters and vendors to educate the masses and IT firms to take benefit and the cost factors is not affecting the security and performance a cloud can done for any IT firm.
