    Make sure they operate in a Tier IV datacenter. The datacenters are rated I to IV, with IV having the greatest level of redundancy.

    The concept of cloud computing is very interesting and it's gaining popularity for the many benefits it provides. Looking forward to learning more about it because it is definitely something that we will be hearing more of in the near future.

    In the future, I believe that majority of traditional desktop applications will be transferred in Cloud. Web pages, e-mail are already there Google Docs, VOD and cloud backup are on the horizon all the rest will follow.

    When the cloud services provider uses data centers that are geographically well dispersed, cloud computing offers disaster redundancy at a much lower cost than previously available. Having grown up in a hurricane zone, that is the aspect of it which most appeals to me.

    There are obvious benefits of using cloud hosting. It allows data centers to maintain more customers on fewer numbers of servers that use up less energy and will continually be online without any need for frequent shutdowns for routine maintenance. The reason for that is that latest machines plus hardware could be set up and taken off the cloud quickly, without having affected any client's sites and information.
