Looking Up
It's amazing what we miss by simply not looking up. We get caught up in our everyday mundane activities and just forget about observing. This is a sky view in front of our home in Cottonwood, CA.
A Good Photo Spot.....
We have a large grass field at the end of a private airport near our house, and I've been able to get quite a few sky shots here.
Down Near Highway Five
This is one of the better vistas and I've taken a lot of shots here....as you are approaching highway five.

I love the way this cloud splashes against the landscape.....gorgeous!
My Photo Equipment......
I've been shooting Digital for a number of years now, ever since my first Casio digital camera (3.2 pixels). I've had several since then and my favorite so far is a Sony DSC F828 with a Carl Zeis 7X Optical zoom lense on it. Although it is only 8 megapixels, it seems to be adequate to capture as large an image as I need. I also have a small Kodak 10 mpixel camera that I carry with me and I like it's picture quality, but prefer the Sony's color. A Different Mood...............

I am amazed by the beauty that happens in the sky on dark, gloomy days. Sometimes you have to hunt for it and at other times it hit's you in the face......

Was traveling between Grass Valley and Chico when we saw this amazing sunset behind the power lines and rice paddies.

We always see a few deer in this vacant area near our home.

- Beautiful photos!!! Like you, I´d never get tired of looking at clouds and taking pictures of them (well.... sometimes I take good photos, but most of times just boring ones!!!)
Since when I moved to Denmark, I was even more fascinated by clouds, because they can move so quickly and change so fastly, there....

- John, you have captured the beauty of the clouds brilliantly! I love taking pictures of the clouds too, feels like we are capturing God's beauty in the pictures. My favorite one is the wild & crazy sky and right around the corner. Beautiful. ---Blessed---
