I love you very much and as I have said before I have the highest level of respect for you, but you are intentionally ignoring things that are right in your face.

1. You watched the video of the congressional hearing that was
held in 2005 where Barney Frank, Maxine Waters and other Democrats stood up and started saying how Fannie and Freddie did not need more regulation. They were doing a fine job%u2026and a lot of other BS they were contending. The fact is Fannie started buying loans that were being rated as AAA paper based on thin credit and weak assets. They did this so they could hit their number, which then allowed them to get their bonuses. This was how Franklin Raines made over $90 million dollars. It is a fact that the biggest recipient of the campaign donations from Fannie/Freddie Lobbies were the following:

a. Christopher Dodd

b. Barack Obama

c. Barney Frank

d. Maxine Waters and the hits just keep on rolling.

So you can ignore the facts if that's what you choose to do, but you are blinding yourself.

2. The fact is that the "95%" that Barack says he wants to give a
tax break to is baloney. He is going to raise taxes on the businesses.
Well the business are the ones that create the three letter word

3. as your smart VP candidate said, "J-O-B-S"! And this guy is
supposed to be smart? He is one of the dumbest Senators in the congress today. But if that had been Sarah Palin then it would be all over the front page of the Washington Post and the NY Times. The fact is that 40% of the 95% that Barak wants to give a "tax cut" DON'T PAY TAXES! LOOK IT UP!

Joe the Plummer is one Thousand % right. What Barak Obama is proposing to do is called "SOCIALISM"> and it's not the American Economic System.
We are not built on Socialism, we are built on free market capitalism.
And it's worked. Socialism fails every time and everywhere it is instituted. The leader in the development of the world was and is and has been the US of A. Not Sweden, not France, not Germany, not the USSR or Russia%u2026or any other of the socialist experimental governments. Go do some research on socialism and see what it leads to and it's history!

That's why Joe is getting attacked by you more enlightened liberals.

4. On Tax cuts%u2026I agree%u2026but then you contradict yourself%u2026because
Barak is saying tax cuts%u2026McCain is saying leave the taxes alone%u2026let them stay the way they are%u2026Barak is saying cut them on 95% of Americans, even those who don't' pay any taxes%u2026that's what is ridiculous. That's what is stupid. You don't raise taxes in a recession. Ask just about any economist. They don't agree on much but most of them agree on this point. So why is he saying he is going to do this? Because he is BUYING VOTES! Let me say that again%u2026HE IS BUYING VOTES! BUT GUESS WHAT, HE ISN'
T BUYING THE JOES OF THE WORLD, BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT FOR SALE! I AM NOT FOR SALE! BARAK IS NOT GOING TO PIMP ME! THE DEMOCRATS ARE NOT GOING TO PIMP ME! THE REPUBLICANS ARE NOT GOING TO PIMP ME! So what should we do about taxes? Eliminate them and go to the Fair Tax. I have told you before%u2026investigate the website www.fairtax.org. Go there%u2026read about the fair tax%u2026get the book and read about how it would work. You are a smart guy Jeff, stop being a closed minded follower and listen to somebody besides Keith Oberman and Chris Matthews and the rest of the media elite.

5. The fact is those who have more already give the most! Who sets
up foundations%u2026poor people%u2026who creates libraries%u2026poor people%u2026who builds hospitals%u2026poor people%u2026who creates jobs%u2026poor people. Get real Jeff. I want to be rich%u2026I want to be very rich%u2026.and if you would tell the truth%u2026 so do you%u2026so stop hating on those who have and let's start trying to figure how we can get there too! There is plenty of opportunity in America for anyone to make it. We can make it! You can and I can%u2026and yes even Joe the Plumber can make it!

It is now September 24,2008; and Congress still don't have a clue. This huge bailout; what is it now 1 trillion? What if they can't sell all the assets they are going to buy,you and me (taxpayer) will be holding the junk.
I am so sick of our reps on the hill talking about oversight; what is the SEC for? What about the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight (OFHEO)? This toothless tiger has been trying for years to push reforms.

Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) said the following on Sept. 11, 2003: "We see entities that are fundamentally sound financially. . . . And even if there were a problem, the federal government doesn't bail them out."

Frank, now chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, said that the president's suggestion for a strong, independent regulator of Fannie and Freddie was "inane."

Sen. Thomas Carper (D-Del.), later that year: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

On May 25, 2006 John McCain called for reform of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. He co-sponsored the S. 190 [109th]: Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Reform Act of 2005

3. Obama, Barack D-IL $105,849

I take it all back they are not ,br>clueless. They are sneaky and conniving, trying to convince the american people they are shocked and appalled by what has transpired. They have had their hands in the Fannie-Freddie cookie jars.

I have been watching with amazement,disgust, and sometimes amusement, how our representatives in Washington are so clueless, when it comes to the American people and what we feel are important.

1. How long can we continue to be dependant on foreign energy?

2. Why, when the Bush Admin asked for reform of Fannie and Freddie, did our representatives resist?

3. Do we really believe that Barack Obama can give us all a tax cut?

4. Is wealth redistribution rooted in coveteous?

5. How can we really give everyone health care?

6. How does my personal faith, affect public policy?

7. Should my personal faith, decide my public policy?

8. What is it about people of faith that the elitist don't get?

9. Can we trust John McCain?

10. What about the wars in Irag and Afghanistan?
