Southern Methodist University Head Football Coach, June Jones
June Jones starting coaching at the University of Hawaii as a graduate assistant, then a couple of stints with USFL Teams (Houston Gamblers and Denver Gold). He then coached with the Ottawa Roughriders (Canadian Football League), and moved to the Houston Oilers, then the Detroit Lions, Atlanta Falcons and the San Diego Chargers. Jones moved back to the college ranks in 1999 as head coach of the University of Hawaii Warriors. On January 7, 2008, June Jones announced that he was the new head football coach of the Southern Methodist University Mustangs.

June Sheldon Jones, III (born in Portland, Oregon) is an American football coach, formerly with the Atlanta Falcons and the University of Hawaii.
