This book draws together the best of all the existing models on coaching. At first this made me feel that the format of the book was going to be as dry as dust and perhaps more suited to those studying HR or Performance Coaching professionally.

For the serious HR professional it is a book that is easily read in the normal sense from cover to cover, but I feel it works especially well as an excellent reference manual for the seasoned manager or team leader, to dip into whenever the need arises.

Each section is clearly set out with a good outline of each individual situation, the desired outcome and useful hints to 'next steps'.
