Coastal Insulation Corporation

Established in 1975 with only two employees, Coastal Insulation Corporation is now one of the largest independent insulation contractors in the country. Their organization is made up of four distinct companies nationwide, spanning eight states and growing.

For over thirty years they've offered the construction industry fast, reliable, and quality services for all the industries insulation needs. Their organizational philosophy, and the key to success, is focusing on customer satisfaction. They have been able to expand their territory and pass savings on to their customers by operating with the efficiency of scale.

Coastal Insulation 

Coastal Insulation was incorporated in October 1975 by Susan and Steven Schwartz. What began as a small operation in Morris Plains, with just Steven Schwartz and insulation applicator Dave Robertson, has grown into a corporation of hundreds of employees and a fleet of more than two hundred and fifty vehicles. Coastal Insulation grew by attracting talented personnel as well as taking over other insulation firms, including Kenco, Van, and Ditto Insulation. Since the mid 1990s Coastal Insulation has also acquired SealRite and Shepherds, and founded Elmsford Insulation.

The corporate warehouse and office now resides in a state of the art headquarters in East Windsor, New Jersey. The company's territory currently spans eight states nationwide: New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Maryland, Delaware, Massachusetts, and Colorado.

Today, Coastal Insulation remains a family-owned business. Bret Schwartz joined the Coastal team full time as part of the second generation in 2001. Before that he worked part time during high school and college, familiarizing himself with various aspects of the organization. He is a graduate of Boston University with a degree in Business Administration with a Management concentration.

SealRite 

SealRite Insulation, Inc. was incorporated in 1956 in Brooklyn, New York. In 1996, Coastal Insulation acquired SealRite and the company now operates out of the corporate office in East Windsor. The territory includes NY, NJ, CT, PA, DE, and MD.

SealRite Insulation, Inc. has recently been appointed as the official spray foam division of the organization. As a Demilec Authorized Contractor, SealRite is committed to providing its clients with superior installation services while using the highest quality products.

SealRite Insulation, Inc. is pleased to offer the full line of Demilec Spray Foam Insulation products, a current industry leader for high performance and eco-friendly insulation.

Shepherds 

Shepherds Insulation was founded by Don Shepherd in 1966. Shepherds was acquired by Coastal Insulation in 2002 and today Don Shepherd remains actively involved as a consultant and estimator. Shepherds is located in Pueblo, Colorado. The company's territory includes Colorado Springs and El Paso county, Denver, Pueblo, and the surrounding areas.

Elmsford 

Elmsford Insulation was founded in 1999 by Steven Schwartz and Jim Cardello. The office and warehouse are located in Elmsford, New York and the company's territory covers New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and the surrounding areas. Jim has been actively involved in the insulation business since 1983.
