Every day, we scour the web and work with public affairs officers throughout the country to create daily Coast Guard news stories and our weekly Coast Guard Channel Newscast. Our weekly video-based newscast is a one-of-a-kind program that lets you see and hear what's going on in the Coast Guard and to meet the people that are making Coast Guard news.

Bryan Snuffer
Amazingly Different
Bryan has made a career out of art and illustration through working with various company's and organizations. His interests in aviation and the space program since the Apollo shots have always provided him with a fascination with flight and aircraft. Bryan started drawing scribbling at an early age and has stuck with that ever since. Painting aircraft and military subjects have really began to culminate as his involvement with the Muskegon Air Fair in 1997. After working with Pratt & Whitney for several of their promotions, the fire for painting aircraft started to kindle. His true love for art has given him a unique privilege in being a military artist for the Air Force, Navy US Coast Guard and the Marine Corps. He was accepted into the Air Force Art Program in October of 2002. Since then has produced four pieces for AFAPO. Bryan's pieces are in collections worldwide and with military units all over the United States. Traveling with the US Navy and the Air Force has been quite an experience for the artist and has enhanced Bryan's abilities and experience. Artwork by Bryan Snuffer

Dick Levesque
A Lifelong Passion
Dick Levesque was in the Coast Guard for twenty plus years but his love of the sea actually started when he was a young boy. Growing up in San Francisco, mingling with the fishermen on the Wharf, talking with Merchant Seamen and climbing the rocky cliffs at Lands End, his work reflects a lifelong passion for all things nautical including several images of Coast Guard Cutters and boats, past and present.http://www.levesque-art.com/
