Specialist services from Coastline Surveys
Coastline Surveys have a number of specialist services and disciplines available to clients. These include:
- Environmental Monitoring
- Coastline Surveys Limited undertakes surveys of a multidisciplinary nature within the coastal zone and in riverine areas to gather data essential for environmental assessments. They may be one-off site investigations or part of long term monitoring exercises managed by the Client or by the Company.
- Protection Schemes
- As our water margins are being developed for marinas, water sports, beach leisure and other pursuits, so demands upon coastal and river regions are increasing, and the work to preserve these areas has to be maintained.
- Dredging
- Precise and accurate mapping of the coastal zone especially around port approaches and in shipping lanes is essential for charts to show maritime users the seabed morphology and submarine features. Safety and efficiency require route entrances and berths to be clear of obstacles and of adequate depth as shown on the charts.
- Prospecting & Evaluation
- Coastline Surveys has developed a modern, comprehensive and flexible survey and reporting package, utilising the most cost and time effective systems. The Company also provides personnel for survey and Client Representative duties on board Client managed operations and for independent QA/QC reviews.
- Route Surveys
- Using a variety of survey and sampling techniques Coastline Surveys provide quality information on the seabed and sub-bottom characteristics, enabling the Client to choose the optimum route and construction method.
