Speak like a Cockney

Have you ever watched a British television program and not understood what they were talking about? They were probably using cockney rhyming slang. This was started in the East End of London with the working class people and now has transcended into music, television, and all other media.
Below you will see examples of how this is used and also some video clips of popular television programs where they speak with cockney rhyming slang..

Only Fools and Horses

This is my all time favorite television show. A comedy based around two brothers Del-boy and Rodney who live in Peckham, south London in a tower block. Del-Boy, is an opportunistic entrepreneur. If you have never watched any of the programs, you should. This is British humor and was one of the most popular watched programs in Britain.
