The other day I bought a pack of 1,000 shipping labels that were "100% consumer recycled". When the labels arrived they were packed in individual boxes of 100 labels each - each box packed in cardboard and wrapped in plastic wrap.
This seemed amazingly hypocritical as I felt like the packaging was wasteful and unnecessary. Why is a company touting 100% green labels using 10 separate boxes and plastic wrap for a single order? Why not bundle them all in one single box?
Do you think being "green" is becoming a gimmick? And if so how do we ensure the bandwagon jumpers have their hearts in it and not just their wallets?
Is the "green" movement causing more damage? Or is it helping?
