Just you and Me

I wake up in the morning,
You greet me at the table.
Wonder,what would I do without you,
You are so strong and stable!
I wrap my hands around you,
Warming at the touch.
Never thought I'd wake,
Needing something so much!
Without you by my side.
Don't think I'd make it through the day.
You seem to clear my head,
And start me on my way.

You're warm in winter winds,
Soothing in summer sun.
And I know I'll hold you again,
Before this day is done.
I know we'll not be parted
You are near my only vice
I'll drink until you're empty
The taste is very nice
Then I fill you up again
Before the kids get up
Treasuring the quiet moment
Just me,and my dear coffee cup!!
