Book Review Of A Mystery Series

Alice Alfonsi and her husband Marc Cerasini work together to write the Coffeehouse Mysteries under the pen name of Cleo Coyle. Berkley Prime Crime has been publishing this National Bestselling series of books since 2003. Clare Cosi is the female sleuth along with being the manager of a fictitious coffee house located in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of New York City, The Village Blend. With fun coffee themed titles each book is entertaining and well written. What I find the most fun are the little added bonuses the reader finds about coffee in each novel.

The team of Alfonsi and Cerasini, as Cleo Coyle, describe the atmosphere in a Coffee House so well that you can almost smell the aroma as you read. At times, the reader, is given an explanation about a specific type of coffee such as Kona Coffee or Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee.

The series now consists of 9 delightful mysteries. If you love a good murder mystery and enjoy a good cup of coffee, you will find this series both engaging and fun.

The Coffeehouse Mystery Series sounds like a series that I would really enjoy! Thanks for the heads up. Trying to "like" but something is not working right today.
