Mint Errors Elevate the Value of Coins
Recently, error coin collectors paid hundreds of dollars for certain Wisconsin State Quarters which contained one of two errors ("Up-leaf and down-leaf")
Error coins are sought by collectors and can sell for hundreds or even thousands of dollars. Check auction sites for examples.
I am not in the business of coin authentication, just an average person looking for a lucky error coin or two among the quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies received in my change.
I found that there are tons of sites in search results that don't really help people like me identify these rarities, so I put together this lens with some sites that will really help in your quest for that elusive error.
