I Can't Live Without High Quality Olive Oil!
. At the start of my work day today, I decided to go ahead and write another personalized review lens. It's an assignment of sorts, and I was supposed to choose something that I use every day and that I love.I had no idea what to write about until the olive oil run out. You see, I use it so often (it's even part of my beauty regimen) that I almost ran out to the store to get more. But I suppose it can wait until tomorrow. Bingo! This review lens is born.

Ideas for Using Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- To saute things. This is a classic. Even if I am cooking with nonstick pans I always put at least a teaspoon of olive oil in it. It gives the food something extra!
- In baking mixes. Whenever I make brownies or cake from a mix, I use the best olive oil I can find. I once made a spice cake from a mix for my Uncle's birthday. My aunt asked if it was homemade! I said no, from a mix. She persisted, "So, what's different about it that makes it taste so good." It was the olive oil!
- Boxed mac and cheese. It usually calls for butter but I substitute that for the same amount of olive oil. It tastes even better since I don't like butter as much as olive oil.
- Salad dressing. A classic use for it, wouldn't you say? I don't use anything other than olive oil for all my dressings.

You know, my beauty routine is simple. If my skin is dry, I put olive oil in it. If my hair or lips or cuticles are dry, I put olive oil on it. If my hair frizzes, I put olive oil in my hair. That's really all there is to it!I also make beauty products with olive oil. My favorite is to mix brown sugar, ginger powder, and olive oil together to make a wonderful body scrub. I also use olive oil as my primary base for essential oil massage oils. My favorite is to put 10 drops of lavender essential oil with one cup of olive oil and use it as a relaxing massage.
