Cold Calling Tips and Avoiding the 1000 Pound Telephone 

Cold Calling is probably the biggest fear anyone in network marketing has. This fear literally makes the phone feel like it weighs 1000 pounds, you just can't lift it, no matter what.

Cold calling which requires personal visits can make it almost impossible to get out of the car, requiring a virtual ejection button to move you.

Does any of this sound familiar?

I know what its like to have sleepless nights and restless days having never-ending conversations with myself trying to force myself to pick up the 1000 pound phone or install the ejection button under my seat in the car so I can get out and find someone to talk to.

Many books and programs available will describe any number of cold calling tips, but the obvious one is "don't cold call".

Mark Yarnell in his book "Your First Year in Network Marketing" says the key is to continually build your warm market, so you never have to use a cold market.

As we all know and he agrees with, this isn't an easy thing to do but is an ongoing process.

In his book "Your first Year in Network Marketing" Mark Yarnell says " You will talk to a greater number of people in cold marketing than in warm in order to generate the same favorable responses.

In those circumstances you better be confident, self-assured, and proficient at responding to the primary objections brought up at recruiting meetings.

Cold market prospecting is aptly named-it's "cold".

I can almost hear the shudders of horror as you're reading this because in most circumstances, you go through your warm list pretty fast...if you're doing old method network marketing!! This is the key!

Cold Calling tip: Stop Network marketing the old way and accept the challenge of learning new techniques that allows you to continually add to your warm market using the Internet.

So now, you don't have to install that ejector button under your seat in the car and your phone no longer weighs 1000 pounds!

But it doesn't come easy and you have to put the time and effort in required.

Why not tap into the infinite source of prospects using the Internet, building relationships from the comfort of your own home and have a warm list like no one else you know?

Cold Calling tip: Internet Attraction Marketing is a strategy that allows you to focus on "relationship marketing" which is what MLM is all about.

This allows potential prospects to learn about you, what you have to offer and then decide for themselves if they feel comfortable enough with you to go ahead and join your business or at the very least, take advantage of the resources you suggest.
