How much does Permafrost cost?
What will my investment be?
The answer you are looking for is: $100 per ton.
If you don't know how many tons your A/C is, don't worry, I can help.
First, you can guesstimate by averaging 1 ton per 500 sq. ft. in your home.
Second, check the label on the A/C unit outside your home. Jot down the model number and call the manufacturer or a local A/C company and ask them what size it is.
Third, look for the following codes on that same label, as some makes include these size indicators on the label.
018 is a 1-1/2 ton unit.
024 = 2 tons
030 = 2.5 tons
036 = 3 tons
042 = 3.5 tons
048 = 4 tons
060 = 5 tons
If you fall in the half-ton range, round up to calculate how many units of Permafrost to purchase.
