BCDs for the Diver Who Wants it All
Cold Water BCD #1 - Zeagle 911
Comfortable during any extreme situation underwater.
www.leisurepro.com
The Zeagle 911 is the best cold water BCD. It provides an extra lift that is very helpful because it lets you carry as much weight as necessary without having to worry about coming back up to the surface and staying afloat. If you are doing a night dive, you will appreciate the reflective tape that comes with it so that others can spot you right away. Our favorite part of the 911 is that it is very comfortable and we all know that during extreme dives the most important thing is to feel comfortable.
Cold Water BCD #2 - Seasoft Pro
Good quality and comes with the TMS guarantee.
Where to find it:www.leisurepro.com
Overall, the Pro is an outstanding product. We tested it out and I'm a smaller than average diver but I was able to adjust the BCD so that it would fit me securely. We made several dives wearing this cold water BCD and it was very easy to move around underwater. The best feature is the TMS (Triple Point Mounting System), which guarantees that your tank will never slip or even move around and we all know how annoying it is when your tank is moving and hitting up against you.
Cold Water BCD #3 - ScubaPro Classic Plus
A stabilizing jacket that your buddies will be jealous of.
www.leisurepro.com
The Classic Plus works great in warm and cold water. This BCD features ScubaPro's flow-through design, comes with quick dump integrated weights and pockets with zippers. This is a good cold water BCD because it is a stabilizing jacket, which means that it has internal air passages around you that holds the air in. The air flows to the top of the BCD and it gives you more stability and ease of movement. Most divers who spend time in colder climates prefer the stabilizing jacket so check it out.
Cold Water BCD #4 - Seaquest Black Diamond
For the technical and recreational diver.
www.leisurepro.com
The Black Diamond should only be considered if you are ready for an advanced cold water BCD. This BCD comes with an original three-dimensional buoyancy bag that expands, which adds a low drag. The coolest thing about the Diamond is that you can use it for both technical and recreational diving. Most divers have learned the hard way after spending a lot of money that their new BCD cannot be used for technical and advanced dives. So if you want to do it all, this one is for you!
