Quality Camping Gear by Coleman

As a child, my father introduced me to Coleman camping gear. We used to use a camping stove and lantern built by Coleman, and we relied on their quality products when we were away from home.

Now, years later, I still use Coleman. Think of it as a tradition, a way of life when you are out camping, but for most people Coleman is a name synonymous with camping.

I have gathered together the most common camping gear that you would need and have put them here on this lens for your convenience. Enjoy!

Coleman Stoves

Quality cooking equipment

Camping stoves offer a convenient way to warm water and create wonderful meals while camping. While one could argue that a fire could be used for cooking, the heat from the fire cannot be controlled, and therefore it limits the types of foods that you can cook on it.

Coleman offers a quality line of propane powered camping stoves to meet all your cooking needs while camping.

Coleman Lanterns

Shining Bright in the Dark

One of the strangest things that people encounter when they first go camping, is that there are just no street lights out in the forest.

But for most people in the outdoors don't go to bed when the sun sets. Instead, you might find yourself wanting to play cards, or sipping a cup of cocoa - and chances are you will need a light.

By using a Coleman lantern, you will be able to have the light you need at night. Available in either Propane powered or battery powered, there is definitely an option that will work for you.

Coleman Coolers

Keeping your food cold and fresh

Quite often when you go camping, you might want to take along milk and other perishables with you. In order to keep them cool and keep them from spoiling, most people use a cooler to store their food.

There are coolers that use ice (or ice packs) as well as ones that plug in to a 12 V socket in your vehicle.

This brings back so many memories for me of camping as a child. I think everything I used back then was Coleman! I still use Coleman lanterns - one came in very handy during Hurricane Ike!
