Coleman Double High Air Mattress

When I was pregnant with our second child, my husband had to go out of town on business for two nights. Since our daughter was only 15 months old and I was having a difficult pregnancy, my husband asked my father to come stay with me to help out. The only problem was we didn't have a guest bed.

I told my husband we should buy an air mattress. Not only would an air mattress come in hand for my dad's visit, but it would be useful for future visits of friends and family. But my dad has arthritis, which makes it difficult for him to get on and off of a standard low air mattress. So, after a lot of shopping around, I decided to buy the Coleman double high air mattress.

I love how quickly the electric pump fully inflates the queen air mattress. The pump is loud, so you do want to inflate the mattress before others are sleeping. The only criticism I have is that the pump nozzle doesn't fit securely in the mattress valve, so it is necessary to hold the pump in place while airing it up. But, the mattress inflates so quickly I wasn't bothered by this.

The top of the mattress is covered in a soft, felt like fabric. It is not only comfortable, but the texture helps hold sheets firmly in place. The mattress itself is very sturdy and high quality. We've used our double high air mattress for three years now with no problems at all. Our 65 pound dog didn't even damage it.

It is super easy to get on and off of the Coleman double high air mattress because it is almost the exact height of a standard bed with box springs. And it sleeps comfortably.

I am very satisfied with the Coleman double high air mattress and recommend it for anyone needing an extra bed that can be easily stored away.
