You can see Ferguson every Tuesday on the Sci Fi Channel playing Jack Carter in Eureka. Great Show by the way...

Ferguson does an excellent job of portraying the town sheriff, one of two non-brainiacs - his deputy being the other - in a town full of the ultra-smart, and father to teenage daughter, Zoë (who, turns out, is also a genius - of course, she'd have to be with that name! I don't know, perhaps I'm biased).

So far the future looks good for Ferguson and Eureka - I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they don't go the way of The Dresden Files.

Update: My dvr is set to record a Sci Fi show called Dead Like Me and lately it has been showing up a lot - which is strange because the show has been canceled for a while. Anyway, I needed something to watch the other day & guess what Dead Like Me isn't Dead Like Me it is Eureka! So if you'd like another chance to catch Eureka just look for Dead Like Me in your listings. Strange...

The summertime used to be a tv wasteland...thankfully that's changing.

And that's due in part to shows like Fear Itself. While the plots aren't exactly new, the acting is well done. Every week it is a different show with different actors - the plots are kind of a modern day mix of Twilight Zone & Tales From the Darkside.

Look for Ferguson in Fear Itself when it goes into rerun - if you missed it. For Ferguson fans, it is definitely worth catching.

I don't know about you, but this time of year I like to watch the sappy Christmas shows & Lifetime has a plethora.

Just this past weekend I found a goodie too - called Christmas in Paradise.

Colin Ferguson starred in it and he did a good job. I have to admit that it was a little strange - because I am so used to him portraying Jack Carter.
