What is Collapse Blast?

Collapse Blast is an online game created by Gamehouse for Facebook & other social media networks. It is an "APP" which is short for an application. You can play for free, with friends, and you can send each other "lives" if you run short. Also, you can purchase "coins" through Facebook known as Facebook Credits when you click the "Shop" button on the game screen.

Let the Games Begin!

Game Play ActionWhen you click "PLAY" you can go ahead and start busting blocks. You don't have to wait until the countdown ends. The object of the game is to clear the board for points. The more blocks you clear at once, the bigger bonus you get. You have to have 3 blocks or more in a row, aligned, to clear. They also do not have to be in a single row, they can be "L" shaped, "T" shaped and so on. When you hover your mouse over the alignment of blocks, it will "glow" and then you click. This is a very fast-paced game, so you cannot expect thousands of points for your first game. Basic play is playing without enhancements such as bombs, alignment scramblers, the rainbow bomb and so on. Also, always be aware of your timer on the right-hand side of your screen! You have ONE MINUTE of game play, so make EVERY SECOND COUNT!

BOMBS

Green & Blue Bombs in Game PlayBOMBS are used to detonate during game play and clear the board faster. They give you tons of points if you use them strategically. However, you start off with the basic black bomb, but the other bombs are unlocked during game play.

  1. Black Bomb 100pts & detonates all colored blocks approximately 35 in circumference

  2. Red Bomb 200 pts & detonates ALL RED blocks

  3. Blue Bomb 200pts & detonates ALL BLUE blocks

  4. Green Bomb 200pts & detonates ALL GREEN blocks

  5. Rainbow Bomb 400pts & detonates random color blocks including Yellow

  6. Scrambler 50pts & scrambles the board

  7. Horizontal Row Bomb 100pts & detonates all colored blocks in a single row horizontally

  8. Row Col Bomb 150pts & detonates all colored blocks horizontally & vertically in a single row

How to get a MILLION or more on the Scoreboard

Good strategy for using bombs is KEY to gaining a boatload of points. Here are some strategies I use to get in the millions when it comes to scoring:


Tips to get a Million or more on the Scoreboard


  1. Use Bombs: The more bombs you use, the greater your chances to get a clean sweep (clearing the board).

  2. Clean Sweep: A clean sweep is when you clear the board. Your goal is to get multiple sweeps in one game.

  3. Rainbow Bomb + Black Bomb: This combo will cost you 500pts, but it is highly effective. Just remember, use the colored bomb BEFORE you detonate the black bombs, otherwise you'll lose them if they're within range of the detonated black bomb.

  4. 3-Bomb combo: You can use a black bomb with 2 other colored bombs, but you cannot mix the rainbow bomb & other colored bombs. This will cost you 600pts or more, depending on combo.

SPACEBAR + BOMBS: The Spacebar is free, LOL, but is VERY effective if used correctly.

Hit the Roof

The term "Hit the Roof" means that your columns during game play, have reached the top of the game box, or "roof, and therefore game is over, regardless of how much time is left on the timer. You usually don't receive many points after this game is over, if you hit the roof. This is one of the situations to avoid when hitting spacebar often during gameplay.

Using the Spacebar

The spacebar adds rows to the game during game play. By hitting the spacebar, you can collect more rows of the same colored blocks, and this is especially helpful when using colored bombs or the rainbow bomb. When you have a lot of blocks of one color on the screen & clear them, you get a lot more points & bonus points.

    I played Farmville an a few others for about a year and then had to drop them all "cold turkey". It was really hard cause I had a HUGE farm and stopped at a few million dollars. I just spent way too much time on it though. I miss it sometimes though and this game looks fun.

    HAHAHAHAHA blame it on my mama! She is 65 and is an avid online gamer, has a Wii, has a Playstation, and has been a gamer since Nintendo first came out! She got almost 9 MILLION on Collapse Blast. I asked her to help me share the tips LOL
