50 State Quarters are fun to collect
Kids and adults love collecting the 50 state quarters series. In 1999 the US mint started releasing quarters that highlighted each State in America! Each year since 1999, the US Mint has released 4 new state quarters. Until 2009 when the last 5 State Quarters were released.
I have collected many sets of these 50 State Quarters. My favorite set I bought was the painted 50 state quarters set! You can see it listed below!

Hawaii State Quarter
The fifth and final quarter-dollar coin released in 2008 honors the State of Hawaii, and is the 50th and last coin in the United States Mint's popular 50 State Quarters Program. Hawaii, spelled "Hawai'i" in the Hawaiian language, is nicknamed "The Aloha State." It became the 50th state admitted to the Union on August 21, 1959. I have dozens of albums and folders in which I put my quarter collections. This folder is one of my favorites. It is beautiful and sturdy. Sure the multi-page albums are a lot nicer but also cost four times the price. So if you want a good looking strong folder, and do not want to spend too much money, this is the folder for you.

There are a lot of coin books out there. I chose this one for my 8 year old daughter to begin coin collecting b/c it was colorful and it has a book inside to teach her about the different state coins. It holds the coins well. Overall, great product.

I have bought several different quarter folders - trying to find the best one for my grandchildren- this is the VERY BEST ONE- I plan to replace all my previously purchased coin folders with this one. The quarters fit nicely - and there is a little finger area to lift each coin out if you want to look at it or reposition it. I have not been nearly as happy with any other folder.

State Quarters from 1999-2008 Denver & Philadelphia Mints
It's a coin collector's dream folder, with a space for every state's newly designed quarters--arranged according to the year each was minted--along with dozens of fascinating facts. When Congress passed the "50 States Commemorative Coin Program Act" in 1997, which led to the creation of quarters honoring every state in the union, its members especially hoped that young people and their families would collect these memorable tokens.

I am very impressed with this folder. My quarters stay in the slots very nicely. Also like that it has slots for both the Philadelphia and Denver mints. It also has a more substantial feel than some of the other folders I've seen.

- I have been collecting state quarters since 1999. In 2007 I started a collection for my grandchildren. I found it hard to get some of the older state quarters in just pocket change. I did find a web site that helped me fill in the gaps statequartersale. Take a look at what they have some very interesting coins.
